Schoeps “sewed” a new coat for CMH

The favorite CMH microphone, especially popular in radio studios, is ideal for speech and vocal recording, as it is very resistant to noise thanks to the built-in sound neutral cracking protection. It was originally designed as a handheld microphone and is used by many users on stands in studios. This is probably because the CMH is characterized by a particularly transparent sound, which is unique in microphones with crackling protection.

SCHOEPS is now coming with a revised version, which, thanks to a new layer of anthracite gray color, has gained an elegance and higher resistance to ambient noise (lower sensitivity, if you will).

Available during the Q4 2024.

Like its predecessor, it will be available in two variants, cardioid and supercardioid.
